RESIDENTIAL
P HOUSE
The site of this residence is located in an ideal south west orientation that serves an incredible view of the Thermaikos Gulf and full view sunsets.
The main concept was to embrace these special site features and design a residence that stretches and extends to the exterior and eventually to the infinite sea view.
Wooden covered façade parts combined with stone, emphasize the iconic “house shape” volumes which represent a key element of the design concept. Five volumes intersect with each other, in a multilevel plan view, which serves the access for both the main ground floor and the, secondary uses, underground level as well.
The lowest level of the ground floor extends outdoors to a lower level with a pool and plants in order to avoid view blocking from the inside.
The continuity of the house outdoors adapts in terms of use and functionality as well, with an outdoors kitchen and dining room, lounge living room and sunbeds / daybeds.
The daily use zones of the residence are all placed at the front, south west part, followed by the main entrance and the resting/sleeping zone facing south east in order to fully absorb morning light.
The main ground floor is connected by a stairwell with the underground level which serves for supportive uses like storage rooms, laundry room, parking etc.
